UNION WAR RECORDS

          On this page you will find the names of Tinders who were in the
          the Union  army during the Civil War.  This is the latest information
          I have been able to find.  Sources are mainly from  internet

                       These men were found listed on the family tree online, in the military records of the family.

                          Lieutenant 4th Indiana Cavalry, 77th Regiment.
                          Served 3 years.
 

             ISAAC READING TINDER

                     Residence Roseville IL;
                          Enlisted on 8/1/62 as a Private.

                        On 8/21/62 he mustered into "H" Co. IL 83rd Infantry
                        He was Mustered Out on 6/26/65 at Nashville, TN
                        Died in Quincy, Il.  Soldiers Home.

                      On 8/12/61 he mustered in to "F" Co. Ill. 2nd Cavalry
